Piercarlo Sacco | Solo Violin

The beautiful setting of the internal courtyard of the Medieval Castle of Itri will serve as the backdrop for the Solo Violin concert by Piercarlo Sacco.
The concert offers the opportunity to listen to a solo repertoire in one of the most significant locations in the area, taking advantage of the natural acoustics of the fortress walls.

The program will open with the Sonata No. 1 in G minor BWV1001 by Johann Sebastian Bach, followed by “Dissolve, O My Heart” by Missy Mazzoli (inspired by J.S. Bach's Sonatas and Partitas for violin), the Capriccio Op. 1 No. 6 in G minor by Niccolò Paganini, and finally the “Cadenza in Rock’n’Roll” Op. 24 by
Ilya Mishchenkov.
