Antonello Tosto
- Composer

Biography
Antonello Tosto is a composer and producer, based in Matera, Italy. His music carries a distinctly European flavour, infused with an old-world sense of craftsmanship and a subtle theatrical playfulness. He composes concert music for a wide variety of ensembles, ranging from symphony orchestra to solo works, as well as electronic compositions.
He co-founded Pianello Studio (formerly Valse Naïve Studio) together with artist Mariapia Di Lecce. The studio produces short animated films and interactive musical installations — among them La Petite Chaise, performed at the Turin International Book Fair (Salone del Libro di Torino).
His first short film as both composer and director, Valse Naïve, was featured at the Academy Awards–accredited SSFF & ASIA 2021 in Tokyo.
Currently they are working on a musical educational video game, Music Around.
In addition to his work in film and multimedia, Antonello writes concert music for a wide range of ensembles as well as electronic compositions, performed internationally including at venues such the Petruzzelli Theatre in Bari or the Stiftung Mozarteum – Großer Saal in Salzburg.
His catalogue is published by Universal Edition.
